Use more, buy less

"Project pan" started as a challenge among makeup lovers: use a product until you hit the bottom of the pan, before buying anything new. It is a simple idea that is hard to keep up when your products are spread across drawers and bags. Project Pan, the app, gives that challenge a home.

Know what you have

Every product goes in with a photo, brand, category, price and how full it is. You can browse the stash in a grid or a list, and fullness and expiry dates stay in view, so nothing gets forgotten at the back of the drawer.

Pick a few to focus on

Instead of trying to finish everything, you put a handful of products in focus, with a goal by date or by number of uses. Each use is logged, the progress bar fills, and a reminder arrives before a focus deadline. When you cannot decide what to use today, the wheel picks a product for you, filtered by category or colour if you like.

Celebrate the empties

Finished products move to Empties, together with how many you have finished, how much money you saved and the average days each one took. A no buy tracker keeps your streak going until the date you picked, which makes the saving part of the challenge visible too.
