Otlak

Records, tracking and real cost in one panel.

Otlak is a farm management panel for beef cattle, for both fattening and breeding herds. Each farm gets a panel shaped to how it works, from herd records to the monthly report.

It runs in the cloud with five roles, admin, vet, field staff, accountant and read only, so each person sees the tabs they need. Field staff can record births, weighings and health cases on a tablet, even offline.

  • The day on one screen

The panel opens on active animals, pens, today's births and critical alerts, with quick actions for a new birth, weighing, health case or sale. Alerts come in ten categories and three levels, and each one can be snoozed, completed or ignored.

  • Pens map

Every pen sits on one map, coloured by how full it is: fattening, breeding, maternity and quarantine. Open a pen to see its animals and average weight. When a pen is overcrowded the panel recommends a transfer, and animals move one by one or all at once.

  • Herd records

Every animal has its ear tag, group, pen, latest weight and status, searchable by tag, RFID number or name. The detail view shows pedigree, weight history, health and cost, and death records go through a review queue.

  • Births, breeding and weighing

Births are recorded with calf tag, type, result and weight, and the next ear tag is suggested for you. Breeding covers insemination and natural mating with an inbreeding check, and each cow gets her pregnancy check, dry off date and move to the maternity pen. Bulk weighing and daily gain analysis show how every pen is doing.

  • Health, vaccines and medicine

Health cases, treatments and withdrawal periods sit in one place. Vaccination campaigns run in bulk and skip animals that are not eligible, boosters come from templates, and medicine stock is used by expiry date first.

  • Feed, cost and reports

Rations are built from feeds with 14 nutrient values, and feed is tracked from purchase to distribution. Every animal gets a real cost from feed, fixed costs and inflation, and reports compare pens, finance, cost and staff, with a full audit trail, as CSV or PDF.
