Farm records that start in the barn
Otlak gives every role on a cattle farm its own view, and field staff can record on a tablet even offline.
On a farm, the most important records are made far from an office: a birth at night, a weighing in the pen, a sick animal in the field. If the system only works at a desk, those records arrive late or not at all. Otlak was designed to start where the work happens.
Five roles, five views
Otlak runs in the cloud with five roles: admin, vet, field staff, accountant and read only. Each person sees the tabs they need, so the vet works with health records while the accountant works with costs.
A tablet in the barn
Field staff record births, weighings and health cases on a tablet, even offline. The next ear tag is suggested for a new calf, and bulk weighing covers a whole pen at once.
Alerts that reach the right person
Alerts come in ten categories and three levels, from births and vaccines to overcrowded pens, and each one can be snoozed, completed or ignored. Every change is kept in a full audit trail.
